After Life Encounters

Dr. Morse,

Whether or not people are clinically dead, they often seem to have a sixth sense regarding people close to them. Do you know of any documented cases of strangers who were both clinically dead in a hospital at the same time and encountered each other? How about not in the same hospital? We hear of such cases as someone who is clinically dead being aware of a conversation between living people in a waiting room. I haven't heard of strangers encountering each other while they were both clinically dead. If such strangers both survived and spoke of the encounter separately, it would provide a different level of validation than to be aware of a conversation between living people. Many people seem to have heightened levels of consiousness when they are close to irreversible death. I'm curious about how heightened.

You have really encouraged me and made me feel my website is worth all the problems, as you seem so enthusiastic about my work. Please accept my sincere thanks.

I do not know of any cases exactly as you describe. Maybe someone will post one.

However, a patient of mine, Joey, was kicked in the head by a horse and suffered severe brain damage. He also had a profound NDE which he can describe with great difficulty.

He states that he continues to occasionally go into an out of body state, and that in that state, he can communicate with other head injury victims. They also have the same perceptions.

I have not done any formal study of his experiences, such as asking him to tell his friend something in the out of body state, and then asking the parents of the other child if the message was received.
