Healing Powers

Dr. Morse,

Some people believe that they have healing powers after an NDE. I think that possibly the NDE enhances their electromagnetic field. An increase in the emination of electromagnetic energy from one person to another may help with the healing process. There can also be healing effects based on the strength of the ill person's belief that they can be helped.

I'd like to know your opinion. Have you met any such people? How and why do or don't you think they can help?

Thank you, Rena.Tobias

Dear Rena,

I know you subscribe to the newsletter, so check vol 3 for a wonderful example of Joyce Hawkes, the former biochemist electron microscope researcher, transformed into a spiritual healer after being hit on the head by a stained glass window.

Her training, after her near death experience is every bit as rigorous as her biochemistry Ph.D. training, including becoming a Minister with degree from Seattle U, receiving training from Balinese Spiritual Healers, and an apprenticeshiop of five years with a local Seattle Healer.

I have direct evidence of her abilities. A close friend of mine could not walk for four years, as she had a crippling condition called reflex neurovascular dystrophy. Since this is an energy/nervous system problem, I knew a spiritual healer theoretically could help, and I tend to trust any healer that has had a near death experience. In fact, Sue walked after one session with Joyce, and was jogging in one week. Sue stayed with me the entire time, and I took her to Joyce's in a wheelchair, so I have personally seen her healing.

I am currently writing a book entitled Lessons for Living, The Healing Power of the NDE. One of the tapes I sell is a tape of my lecture at Duke University discussing how Near Death experience research unlocks the secrets of mind-body healing.

Many spiritual healings have had NDEs, including Carolyn Wyss, the Medical Intuitive who has written several excellent books. Read Caorlyn's most recent book as she goes into detail on how energy patterns effect healing.

At the National Institute of Discovery Science, biochemists are currently working on exactly how the spiritual light interacts with our cells at the level of DNA, and they will be publishing their results next year in the Journal of Scientific Exploration.

In a nutshell, our right temporal lobe is our link with nonlocal reality. Within nonlocal reality exist the morphic forms (Read Rupert Sheldrake) that code for our existence. Communication with nonlocal reality, an experience that most people perceive as "going into the light" or meeting God, creates a state of morphic resonance, and we have the opportunity to "retune" our bodies, and correct errors in DNA that have developed over the years.

This is why spiritual healings work best for energy problems, immune problems, and cancers, and not for bacterial illnesses, surgical problems, or viral illnesses.

Anyone can promote a state of "wellness" by learning to have spiritual experiences, or "to dissociate", with simple techniques I will be discussing in vol 6, (I think).

This is but an introduction a lengthy topic that I will be addressing again and again in the newsletter.
