I found the footprints of the NDE in such experiences, as they were transformed, whether they had a full blown spiritual
vision of other realities and god, or just a vague feeling that something happened. If you can, read Vol 3, on the Transformation, in which I discuss this in detail.
In short, yes you did have an NDE. Just because it wasn't as involved and flamboyent as Betty Eide's does not make it any
less significant or powerful.
